The Robotics Living Lab offers a unique research environment for exploring the intersection of fashion, robotics, and advanced manufacturing. Equipped with collaborative robotic arms, automated sewing systems, and a wide variety of prototyping equipment, the lab supports experimentation across emerging micro-scale production methods.
Situated within Manchester Fashion Institute, it provides a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration – bringing together designer/ manufacturers, engineers, and researchers to investigate sustainable, high-value, low-volume manufacturing approaches.
We welcome academic and industry partners to engage with our technologies, challenge conventions, and co-develop the future of fashion innovation.
